Intuitive & Curious

Suzanne Havens started drawing when she was a toddler and never quit drawing from her imagination.

Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Michigan State University. She taught secondary school art classes in design, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. She then earned a Masters degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina.

Combining her creative and conceptual strengths, Suzanne made a new career in marketing, advertising and planning in Atlanta and New York. She has worked with dozens of companies including Fitzgerald & Co.,  American Express, Coca-Cola and InterContinental Hotels, Lithonia Lighting Genlyte, and St. Joe Co. either as employer or advertising client.

Suzanne and her husband, Randy, vacationed in Venice, Florida for many years and recently built a home there. Suzanne paints in a studio overlooking a tropical landscape. They journey by sailboat, cruising from Florida to Maine and across the Gulf Stream to The Bahamas.
